Nothing in your files or models changes

Your data stays private

The founder story

I started my career as an underwriter. I automated large parts of my own work to save time and improve accuracy, then watched the firm adopt a new system that replaced 1,400 of us overnight.

That experience shaped everything that came after. I spent the next 15 years inside the firms Smpler is built for, learning how to make technology work for people instead of replacing them.

I've mapped more than 230 systems at one of the largest alternative asset managers in the world. I've led technology programs across real estate, private equity, private credit, and secondaries. Along the way, I saw the same problem again and again: firms have the data, but it's scattered across drives, spreadsheets, and systems nobody has time to connect. And most technology makes firms change how they work instead of fitting into it.

Setup

Each system we connect (SharePoint, OneDrive, Google Drive, office file servers, databases, or the other systems you already use), or each workflow we build around your existing model or template, is one setup at $2,500. Every firm's setup is different. We'll review your systems together during onboarding and connect each one securely, with your approval. If something needs custom work, we build it.

Fair use

Smpler includes everyday use for your whole team. If your usage grows well beyond typical levels, we'll reach out to find the right plan together. No surprise charges, and we'll never cut off your access without warning.

Founding customer program

A limited number of early firms get free customization, their usage costs covered, locked pricing, and a direct line to the founder, in exchange for regular feedback. Email info@smpler.com to ask about it.

What happens after year one?

Year-two pricing is based on how your team actually uses Smpler. We'll walk through it with you well before renewal.

What counts as one setup?

Each system we connect, or each workflow we build around one of your models, is one setup. We'll map out exactly what you need on your onboarding call.

How does connecting our systems work?

We connect each system with your approval, then integrate it with the rest of your firm's data and test it from the perspective of someone who's done this work for over a decade, so your team gets accurate answers from day one.

Can we adjust how Smpler works without calling you?

Yes. Your firm's settings and preferences live in simple Excel files. Edit them, re-upload, and Smpler updates right away.

Can we get our own dedicated database?

Yes, that's available. We'll quote it during onboarding.

Do we need an IT team?

No. We handle the setup. We'll just need someone who can approve access to your systems.
